Description:
Small firm in Frederick, Maryland seeks an associate with two to five years of experience. The practice provides legal services to a variety of clients including municipalities and businesses. The issues are frequently complex. The practice areas include general litigation (state and federal court), corporate, and municipal work. A successful associate is expected to master one to two of these general practice categories. The work requires excellent legal research skills, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity. The position provides the successful applicant an opportunity for immediate client contact, and meaningful participation in our work and a partnership track.Salary range is $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience. We offer individual health and long-term disability insurance after three months of employment and a 401(k) plan with match available after 1 year in addition to other benefits. This is an in-office position but remote work is permitted.
