We are seeking a Michigan attorney to join our law firm. We specialize in plaintiff workers' compensation cases. The ideal candidate is passionate about advocating for injured workers and committed to providing excellent client service. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client interviews and maintain ongoing communication to ensure strong attorney–client relationships.
  • Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and related documentation.
  • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Attend court hearings, facilitations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Conduct depositions of medical and vocational experts.
  • Prepare and write facilitation summaries and other case-related reports.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for fair compensation on behalf of clients.
  • Manage case files efficiently and collaborate with support staff to ensure timely case progression.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including use of the internet, email, word processing, and database software.
  • Prior experience in workers' compensation, no-fault, personal injury, medical malpractice, or social security disability law preferred.

Compensation:
$70,000 - $90,000 yearly
