We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with a strong background in law and motion practice to join our growing firm. You will manage cases from initial strategy through court appearances, working closely with a supportive team of legal professionals. Reasonable 150 monthly billable hour requirement with an immediate monthly bonus payout for extra hours worked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and argue complex legal litigation documents, including summary judgments, demurrers, and tactical motions.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze legal issues to develop winning case strategies.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, settlement negotiations, and mediations.
- Maintain direct client communication, offering strategic guidance throughout the litigation lifecycle.
- Collaborate with firm partners and legal support staff to drive efficient case management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
- 2+ years of experience in civil law, motion practice, and general litigation preferred.
- Proficiency with legal research tools (LexisNexis) and practice management software (MyCase).
- Strong legal drafting, analytical thinking, and persuasive court advocacy skills.
