Are you a recent law school graduate or a junior attorney looking to make a real impact for the injured? Beninato & Matrafajlo is seeking a driven, high-energy Associate Attorney to join our dual-practice firm.

We are looking for an advocate who is ready to manage a diverse caseload that spans both NJ Superior Court (Civil Litigation) and the Division of Workers' Compensation (Administrative Law). Whether you just passed the Bar or have a couple of years of practice, we provide the direct mentorship and consistent courtroom exposure you need to become a powerhouse advocate.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Litigate: Handle a high-volume calendar including motions, depositions, and trials.
  • Case Management: Oversee files from initial intake through settlement, judgment, or award.
  • Strategic Advocacy: Navigate the "no-fault" Workers' Comp system while simultaneously building negligence-based Personal Injury claims.
  • Counsel: Provide compassionate, direct legal advice to clients during the most difficult moments of their lives.
  • Communication: Maintain consistent contact with clients to ensure they are apprised of every step in their legal journey.

Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.

  • Experience: 0–2 years (Recent grads and judicial clerks are encouraged to apply).
  • Attributes: An "on-your-feet" mentality—you should thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a busy court calendar.
  • Skills: Exceptional writing, verbal communication, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
