We are looking for an ambitious Associate Attorney who wants broad, hands-on experience across multiple areas of law. This position works directly with our Managing Attorney, Gregory Christiansen, providing legal support in every aspect of the firm's practice. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for an attorney who enjoys solving complex legal issues, learning quickly, and building expertise across diverse practice areas.

What You'll Do:
As an Associate Attorney, you'll work alongside the Managing Attorney and assist with legal matters involving:
Estate Planning
- Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds, and related estate planning documents.
- Meet with clients to review estate plans and recommend legal strategies.
- Assist clients with trust funding and ongoing estate planning matters.
- Form and maintain LLCs, corporations, partnerships, PLLCs, and nonprofit entities.
- Draft operating agreements, bylaws, shareholder agreements, and organizational documents.
- Advise clients on entity structure, governance, and liability protection.
- Assist with advanced asset protection strategies.
- Prepare trust and business structures designed to protect client assets.
- Coordinate legal documentation supporting domestic asset protection planning.
- Review advertising, sales presentations, webinars, websites, email campaigns, and marketing materials for FTC compliance.
- Draft legal opinions, disclosures, policies, and corrective recommendations.
- Assist with Civil Investigative Demands (CIDs), regulatory responses, and compliance reviews.
- Stay current on FTC guidance and advertising regulations.
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, affidavits, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, proposed orders, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy memoranda.
- Assist with hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Manage litigation deadlines, court filings, and discovery.
- Communicate with opposing counsel, clients, experts, and third parties throughout the litigation process.
- Draft and review contracts, purchase agreements, service agreements, and other transactional documents.
- Conduct legal research across multiple practice areas.
- Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic recommendations.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
- Build strong relationships with clients through professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Utah preferred or ability to become licensed in Utah).
- 2+ years of legal experience preferred; exceptional newer attorneys are encouraged to apply.
