Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. Duties:
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case strategies and client advisories.
  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, negotiations, and mediations by organizing case files and evidence.
  • Engage in client consultations to gather facts, explain legal options, and develop tailored legal strategies.
  • Support attorneys in managing litigation cases across various practice areas by tracking deadlines and maintaining case records.
  • Participate in negotiations with opposing counsel or parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Utilize legal research platforms such as LexisNexis effectively to gather pertinent information.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all case activities and correspondence within the law office management system.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm's legal processes through proactive research and innovative problem-solving.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission or eligibility to sit for the bar exam.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in multiple practice areas
  • Proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective negotiation skills demonstrated through previous experience or coursework.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Legal administrative experience including case management software is preferred but not required.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
