Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants substantive responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to grow alongside a dynamic firm. The Associate Attorney will work closely with the firm's leadership on active matters and will be expected to take ownership of cases appropriate to their experience level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned matters from intake through resolution under appropriate supervision
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations
  • Communicate directly with clients in a clear, professional, and responsive manner
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy and legal analysis
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and case documentation
  • Support firm operations and contribute to continuous improvement of processes

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school or current law student in final year with expected graduation
  • Licensed and in good standing with the applicable state bar, actively pursuing bar admission, or intention to seek bar admission upon graduation
  • 0–3 years of relevant legal experience (including internships or clerkships)
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Sound professional judgment, integrity, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a small firm setting

Preferred (but Not Required)
  • Familiarity with modern legal technology and case management systems
  • Spanish-speaking ability
