This is a litigation position where you would be in court several times a week. You would have autonomy over your cases, however the mangaing attorney will provide guidance and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle all aspects of a client's case including client communication, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for and attending court hearings, conferences, and trials
  • Attending interviews at USCIS and court hearings before the EOIR
  • Advise clients and negociate settlements of their disputes
  • Consulting with clients and keeping them updated as to their case status

Qualifications:
  • Member of the Texas Bar in good standing
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident and results-orientated
  • 1-4 years of experience perferred
