Full Job Description:Talley, Richardson & Cable, P.A., a small firm located in Dallas, Georgia is looking to hire a motivated associate attorney with one plus years of experience in general civil litigation and/or representation of local governments.
Responsibilities of the ideal candidate will include:
- Civil trial practice
- Knowledge of litigation
- Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents
- Analyze and summarize legal documents
- Correspond with clients and opposing counsel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Representation of county and municipal governments at local meetings
- Provide counsel to county government and their departments
- Must possess analytical, written, verbal and social communication skills
- Desire to thrive in a small firm environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures
- Licensed attorney with 1+ years of experience. Law firm experience is preferred, but not required.
