We are seeking a family law associate attorney who can work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team. The attorney will meet directly with clients, manage a personal caseload, and be responsible for handling assigned files from intake through resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload involving dissolution, decision making allocation, parenting time, child support, maintenance, and asset division
- Meet with clients and provide ongoing case updates
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence
- Communicate with opposing counsel and other professionals
- Appear in court and participate in hearings and other proceedings
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois
- Prior family law experience required
- Ability to manage files independently
- Strong communication, organization, writing, and case-management skills
- Professional, detail-oriented, and team-focused
