Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 0–5 years of experience to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to develop litigation and client management skills in a supportive environment with direct mentorship from experienced family law practitioners.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, dissolution, custody, and support proceedings.
- Conduct client consultations, prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and trial.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Manage case files from intake through resolution with attention to detail and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Ohio (or awaiting admission).
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases.
- Interest or experience in family law preferred, but not required.
