Candidate must also have excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills, must possess the ability to think on their feet and respond strategically, and have a client focused mentality.Position responsibilities include:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload.
- Review, analyze, and draft discovery requests.
- Conduct depositions.
- Prepare and argue motions.
- Trial preparation and support.
- Investigate facts.
- Preparing witnesses for deposition and trial.
- Attend court hearings and trials.
- Maintain accurate time records.
Requirements:
Candidate Requirements:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- 1 – 5 years litigation experience.
- Admitted to practice in Illinois.
- Experience with motion practice and depositions.
- Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions preferred.
- Capable of independent work.
- Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.
- Superior research and writing skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to analyze complex matters.
