About the Job:
Buffalo Biodiesel is in growth mode and currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our fast-growing team! You will have the opportunity to be mentored by a former Supreme Court Justice and State Senator!

This position will consist mostly of drafting legal documents and other clerical work. General Counsel will handle most court work and appearances.

Responsibilities:

Draft settlements, default judgements, summons and complaints, etc.
Maintain accurate records of all legal activities and communications.
Limited court work based on necessity.

Qualifications:

Permitted to practice law in New York State
Must be admitted to NYS Bar Association (Dealbreaker)
At least 2 years of legal drafting experience (Dealbreaker)
Fluent understanding of electronic filing via NYSCEF
Excellent LexisNexis skills
Strong legal writer
Familiarity with legal administrative processes and procedures
Ability to work independently
This role requires onsite work from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Our offices are located at 17 Court Street, Buffalo, NY 14202.
