Our Los Angeles office is seeking hardworking and ambitious associate attorneys specializing in workers' compensation defense who are eager to take their careers to the next level with our firm.

As an Associate Attorney at our firm specializing in Workers' Compensation Defense, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier legal services to our clients.

Responsibility:
  • Case Management: Manage and oversee a diverse caseload of workers' compensation matters, ensuring timely responses, proper document handling, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex issues related to workers' compensation law. Prepare detailed legal strategies accordingly.
  • Client Representation: Represent clients effectively at all stages of workers' compensation disputes, including hearings, depositions, and negotiations.
  • Client Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients, updating them on case developments and providing legal advice as required.
  • Legal Documentation: Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal papers related to workers' compensation defense.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team of attorneys and support staff. Contribute to team meetings and firm's knowledge sharing initiatives.

Requirements
  • 1+ year of Workers' Compensation experience.
  • JD from an accredited law school and good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to case analysis.
  • Experience in researching, analyzing, taking, and defending depositions.
  • Genuine interest and passion for advancing justice through zealous advocacy and vigorous representation of the client's interests in the adversarial legal system.

Salary and Benefits
  • Salary range $100,000-$130,000 plus generous bonus. Salary commensurate with experience and skills.
  • 401(k) and profit sharing.
  • Medical Insurance is 100% paid for by the employer.
