Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The successful candidate will provide legal expertise across various practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills within a collaborative environment while handling diverse client cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw, and experience in legal drafting and administrative tasks.

Duties:
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research tools to support case preparation.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Manage a varied caseload of family law and more
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings by organizing evidence and preparing exhibits.
  • Engage in client consultations to gather case details and provide legal guidance within scope of expertise.
  • Participate in negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.
  • Support the firm's administrative functions related to case management and client communication.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Proven experience or interest in practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, or patent law.
  • Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms.
  • Excellent legal writing and drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Prior legal administrative experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a professional demeanor.
