Overview:We are small firm looking to grow. We are seeking an Associate Attorney (or Partner, depending on experience) to join our legal team. We are a civil defense firm, with diverse practice areas, from auto accident defense and slip and falls to construction defect and professional liability defense. This role offers an opportunity to engage in a diverse range of legal practice areas, including conducting research, drafting pleadings, handling discovery, court appearances, and participation in trials and arbitrations.
Skills:
- Prior experience with construction litigation strongly preferred;
- Strong research skills;
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce well-organized legal drafts that are clear and persuasive.
- Strong negotiation abilities demonstrated through previous experience;
- Ability to interpret complex laws and regulations accurately across multiple practice areas.;
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and presenting information clearly to clients ;
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
