Description:
The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Alabama, and have at least five (5) years of civil litigation experience in workers' compensation, insurance defense, trucking, employment/civil rights, and/or premises liability, or a desire to learn and excel in these areas of the law.Responsibilities:
- Investigate claims and prepare strategy and plan for litigation
- Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and trial documents
- Participate in hearings, depositions, and trial
- Prepare reports to clients and insurers
- Collaborate with the litigation team to achieve the best results for our clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
- Admission to the Alabama State Bar (5 years or more preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong legal knowledge
- Strong legal writing skills
