Description:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience (preferably) to join our legal team with an emphasis on civil litigation, insurance defense, construction and regulatory compliance. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal support and assistance to our clients. Your duties will include:- Conducting legal research and analysis on various issues
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts, as well as reports to the client
- Representing clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings
- Assisting with deposition preparation and strategy
- Negotiating settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Managing and organizing case files and documents
- Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research
- Knowledge of Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, or other legal research tools
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
