Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. Duties:
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across multiple practice areas.
  • Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and client correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Prepare for trial by organizing case files, developing litigation strategies, and assisting with trial preparation activities.
  • Represent clients in court depositions, hearings, and negotiations to advocate effectively on their behalf.
  • Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software to ensure timely updates and compliance with procedural laws.
  • Provide expert legal counsel to clients on issues related to employment law, personal injury claims, estate planning, and other specialized fields.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex litigation matters involving general & commercial litigation, statutory research, and procedural law requirements.
  • Communicate clearly with clients to keep them informed about case developments and legal options while maintaining high standards of client service.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
  • Proven experience in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, or workers' compensation law is highly desirable.
  • Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for statutory and case law analysis.
  • Excellent legal writing and drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare for court depositions and trial proceedings effectively.
  • Experience in client communication and providing sound legal counsel across diverse cases.
  • Knowledge of procedural laws relevant to litigation processes and court filings.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior law office experience that showcases strong organizational skills and professional growth in litigation or transactional work is preferred.
