Position Summary: The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload, represent clients in court proceedings, provide legal counsel, draft legal documents, collaborate with team members and work closely with clients and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes.Responsibilities:Manage assigned caseload from intake through resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis.Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents.Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances.Communicate timely and effectively with clients regarding case status and legal strategy.Negotiate settlements when appropriate.Maintain accurate and timely case notes and time entries per office protocol.Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative team members.Participate in business development and community networking activities.Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Licensed and in good standing with the Michigan State Bar.Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and people relationship skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.Professional demeanor and strong work and professional ethics.Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $75,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience. Competitive benefits package, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and performance-based bonus potential.
