Description:
Robinson Pecaro & Mier, P.A. is seeking an associate attorney with 2+ years of third party insurance defense litigation experience. Trial experience is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for a hard-working, conscientious and dedicated individual to join our team.The position requires the ability to adhere to deadlines, multi-task, and handle a high volume of cases. The desired candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a self-starter. Our associate attorneys handle their own files independently, take depositions, attend and argue hearings, present at mediations and participate in trials.
Qualifications –
- Member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar
- 2+ years of third party insurance defense litigation experience
Responsibilities –
- Managing cases from inception to post-trial
- Attending hearings, depositions, mediations and trials.
- Preparing pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions and other litigation documents
- Preparing timely reports and case litigation summaries for insurance carriers regarding case status and litigation planning
- Ability to prioritize work load based on deadlines
- Communicating effectively with senior attorneys, partners, and litigation assistants
- Meeting billing requirements
