We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to handle meaningful case work, develop litigation skills, and work alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and professional environment.

Work Schedule: Full-time position. This role is primarily in-office. Following onboarding and demonstrated success in the position, flexible scheduling and limited hybrid work opportunities may be available based on firm and client needs.

Position Summary:
The Associate Attorney will assist with all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, depositions, court appearances, mediation, and trial preparation. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys while managing assigned matters and developing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned litigation matters under the supervision of partners and senior attorneys.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and insurance representatives.
  • Assist with case strategy, evaluation, and resolution.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Maintain accurate case files, billing records, and litigation deadlines.
  • Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the State Bar of Nevada and in good standing.
  • Interest in civil litigation and insurance defense.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Professionalism, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
