Position: Associate Attorney – Immigration Law

Location: Hybrid (Remote with in-person requirements in Philadelphia, PA; Mount Laurel and Newark, NJ)

Compensation: $90,000/year

Position Overview: We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience in immigration law, focusing on removal defense, family immigration, and humanitarian relief (U Visa, T Visa, VAWA). The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer, a creative problem-solver, and someone who thrives under pressure. Fluency in Spanish is essential; proficiency in French is advantageous. The position is available immediately.

Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in removal proceedings before immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals. - Handle family-based immigration cases, including petitions and adjustment of status applications. Prepare and file applications for humanitarian relief, such as U Visas, T Visas, and VAWA petitions. Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Provide legal counsel to clients regarding immigration laws, policies, and procedures. Attend USCIS interviews and immigration court hearings in Philadelphia, Mount Laurel, and Newark, NJ. Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective legal strategies.

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to any U.S. state bar in good standing. 1-5 years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on removal defense, family immigration, and humanitarian relief. Exceptional legal writing skills; a writing sample is required. - Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. English speaker; Work proficiency in Spanish; Proficiency in French is a plus. Comfortable with a hybrid work environment, including remote work and in-person commitments. Willingness to travel to Philadelphia, Mount Laurel, and Newark, NJ, for client meetings, court hearings, and USCIS interviews.
