Description:

A Business Law Firm is looking for an associate with 1-4 years of experience who is interested in working in both the litigation and corporate transactional practices.

The majority of our litigation matters are in defense of municipalities and municipal employees involved in various tort claims. The practice is busy, but manageable. Must Be Admitted to Practice in NY.

Our corporate practice primarily represents startups, tech companies and small businesses. That practice involves drafting and review of contracts and other agreements, corporate formation, some data privacy work, some intellectual property, and other related matters.

We are open to a part-time arrangement, a 4-day a week partner track position, or a full-time position. This is all negotiable and we are willing to offer health insurance even for part-time positions.

This is a good opportunity for an attorney who has some experience under their belt, and is willing to handle both litigation and transactional matters.

We aim to treat employees fairly, work collaboratively in an atmosphere of mutual respect, and we try to have fun every once in a while too. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, helpful person who is engaged in their work and is eager to be a team player. We are looking for someone who shows willingness to learn new skills, work both independently and as a team, and grow with the firm.

A Business Law Firm is small, but growing. The atmosphere of our firm is casual and sociable; we are looking for someone who is pleasant to be around and can comfortably blend into our work environment. Culture and fit is extremely important to us.
