Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal areas, including personal injury law, labor & employment law, contract - transactional and litigation, intellectual property, and general civil litigation, both on the plaintiff and defense sides. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, demonstrate excellent negotiation abilities, have experience with legal drafting and administrative tasks, as well as litigation experience. As an Associate Attorney, you will support senior attorneys in managing cases, conducting legal research, and preparing comprehensive legal documents. This position is paid and provides a platform for professional growth within a collaborative law office environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough legal research to support case development across multiple practice areas.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
Assist in managing client files and maintaining organized case records in compliance with legal administrative standards.
Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, negotiations, and trials by gathering evidence and preparing exhibits.
Participate in negotiations with clients or opposing counsel to facilitate favorable outcomes while adhering to ethical standards.
Review legal documents for accuracy and consistency; ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Stay informed about current developments in various legal fields

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
Proven experience or strong familiarity with litigation; labor & employment experience is a plus.
Demonstrated proficiency in legal research.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
Experience with litigation processes from case inception through resolution.
Knowledge of legal drafting techniques and administrative procedures within a busy law office setting.
