Responsibilities:
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Assist in preparing for litigation by organizing case files, managing case documentation, and supporting procedural law compliance.
- Engage in client consultations to gather information and provide updates on case progress under supervision.
- Maintain accurate case management records using legal case management software; ensure timely filing of all documents with courts or regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases to develop effective legal strategies.
Experience:
- Prior experience working in a law office setting or internship that involved legal research, drafting, or case management is highly preferred.
- Strong writing skills with the capacity to produce clear, concise legal documents tailored for diverse audiences.
- Experience in general & commercial litigation or specific practice areas like estate planning, employment law, or patent law will be considered a plus.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
