Key Details:
  • Pay: $110,000–$130,000 DOE

  • Location: Downtown Portland, OR in the Standard Insurance Center Building
  • Schedule: This is a Hybrid role with a minimum of one in office day on Wednesday plus one additional day

Who You Are:
You're a proactive, detail oriented attorney who thrives in a fast paced environment and communicates with confidence. You're not afraid to follow up, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications include:
  • Education: J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Credentials: Licensed in Washington; Oregon license strongly preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of civil litigation experience (medical malpractice or long-term care defense is a plus, but not required)
  • Skills: Exceptional legal writing and analytical ability; ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively

What You'll Do:
As an Associate Attorney at Lindsay Hart LLP, you'll manage diverse litigation matters across Oregon and Washington. You'll work on cases that may include medical malpractice, long term care defense, and other civil litigation, while collaborating with experienced partners and building strong client relationships. This role offers autonomy, mentorship, and the chance to develop deep expertise in complex litigation.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing litigation cases from initial filing through resolution
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery with precision and clarity
  • Conducting legal research and preparing detailed case analyses
  • Communicating proactively with partners, clients, and opposing counsel
  • Attending hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed
  • Collaborating on strategy and trial preparation with senior attorneys
  • Provide high level support to partners on complex cases, taking ownership of key tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Other duties as assigned
