As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team and help us provide exceptional service to our clients in Will, Grundy, and Kendall Counties.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Illinois attorney with a strong interest and background in family law. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment and is looking to grow their practice with mentorship and meaningful client interaction.

Duties:
  • Handle a full caseload of family law matters from consultation to resolution
  • Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and orders of protection
  • Draft and review motions, pleadings, discovery, and settlement agreements
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, settlement conferences and client meetings
  • Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on case matters
  • Provide legal counsel and regular updates to clients with empathy and clarity
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas, including local county rules

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Illinois law license in good standing
  • 2+ years of experience practicing family law preferred (will consider newer attorneys with strong internships or background in family law)
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and writing skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
