Responsibilities:
  • Strategize and develop comprehensive and bespoke legal solutions for clients while maintaining open and clear communication.
  • Manage all aspects of a client's matter from engagement to close, including maintaining accurate client records and billing/expenses.
  • Collaborate with other team members on complex matters.
  • Help build efficient processes in the delivery of premium legal services.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues and draft legal documents as needed.
  • Represent clients at court appearances and in negotiations.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to NJ state bar; NY state bar admission a plus
  • 2-6 years practicing as an attorney
  • Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas of law: contracts, corporate structuring, transactions, civil litigation, and/or estate and business succession planning
  • Independent thinker with the ability to problem solve
  • Enjoys working in a flexible work environment with in-office days as needed when meetings and/or projects are best handled in person
  • A team player who is looking for a long-term position with growth potential and appreciates transparency and investments in professional development and mentorship
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Experience managing a full caseload
  • Experience in providing legal advice and conducting legal research
  • Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and the opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic legal environment. This position is also eligible for a creative and attainable hours-based bonus structure.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
