Tane Waterman & Wurtzel, P.C. seeks an associate with 2+ years of litigation experience to join our growing firm which concentrates in the representation of cooperatives and condominiums. We have a need for an attorney with the following qualifications:

Qualifications:
Ability to work independently under deadline with strong writing and analytical skills;

Real estate experience strongly preferred but not required;
Experience communicating with clients and other real estate professionals about legal matters;
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills; and
Admitted to New York State Bar.

Responsibilities:
Provide legal representation in a wide range of real estate litigation cases, including condominium and cooperative issues, construction, landlord-tenant disputes, and foreclosure matters.

Conduct legal research and analysis to determine strategies and provide clear and actionable advice to clients.
Draft and prepare various legal documents including notices, pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings, including trials and hearings.
Collaborate with the firm's attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver top notch legal services and achieve successful outcomes for clients.
Manage and prioritize a substantial caseload, maintain time and records, meet deadlines, and ensure the efficient progression of cases.

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 depending on experience, with enhanced compensation per billable hour above a minimum quarterly threshold. There are no mandatory billing quotas. We offer a profit-sharing plan, health insurance, and a great work/life balance.
