Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Represent clients in creditors' rights and collection litigation matters in Georgia
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and case analysis
- Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations
- Handle discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and witness preparation
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Maintain accurate and timely billing records
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Georgia (required)
- 1–3 years of legal experience (collections or litigation preferred)
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Willingness and ability to travel to Georgia courts as needed
- Interest in multi-state practice (opportunity for firm-supported licensure in Maryland and Virginia) (preferred)
