Description:
North Pointe Legal, PLLC is a small law firm located in Ludington, Michigan focusing on all aspects of criminal, family, and abuse and neglect law. Our firm serves clients primarily in the Muskegon, Mason, Manistee, Oceana and Benzie County courts; however, we focus on the Northern Michigan region.We seek an associate attorney to assist with our growing caseload and be a partner in our success. The ideal candidate will have a go-getter attitude and be willing to work in a team environment. Maturity, academic excellence, a strong work ethic and a history of quality legal work experience throughout their law school years and early career are a must. Additionally, we seek a person that likes working with children and likes going to court.
Responsibilities:
- Attend Court hearings regularly
- Conduct regular LGAL visits with children in-person and via Zoom
- Negotiate with other attorneys and various Department staff
- Draft pleadings / motions and all other legal paperwork
- Meet and oversee client cases and meet deadlines as required
- Maintain billable hours pursuant to firm policy

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
