Overview:
Top Adoption Attorneys, a nationally recognized firm specializing in adoption and assisted reproductive technology (ART) law, is seeking a full-time Attorney to join our growing team. With more than 30 years of experience, our firm is dedicated to building families through adoption and surrogacy, and we are proud to offer a unique opportunity to work alongside board-certified adoption attorneys in this highly specialized field.

We are headquartered in Tampa, but are also open to candidates interested in our Orlando, Naples, Merritt Island, Jacksonville, or Boca Raton offices. For the right candidate, we are willing to be flexible on location. Position starts out in-office but can evolve into hybrid work from home role.

The caseload may include:

Termination of parental rights cases
Stepparent, relative, and adult adoptions
Non-relative adoptions (including older children)
Adoption finalizations and name changes
Surrogacy and assisted reproductive technology matters
Second parent adoptions

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court and at hearings
Draft pleadings, contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence
Manage case files and deadlines
Provide thorough client communication and status updates
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in a supportive, team-based environment

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed (or eligibility for licensure) to practice law in Florida
Entry-level or experienced candidates welcome to apply
Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to balance compassion for clients with attention to detail in complex legal matters
Commitment to professionalism, dependability, and teamwork
