About the Position: This position is a full-time associate attorney position with Richman Law & Policy. The Associate will work on cases brought under a variety of legal theories ranging from false and deceptive advertising to tort and securities law. Because we are a boutique firm, the Associate will be involved in all stages of a case's lifecycle and will be given meaningful, challenging work from day one. This is an excellent opportunity for a new lawyer to dive right into public interest litigation.

Responsibilities: The Associate will play an active role on cases in the firm's practice, including:
  • Investigations and case development.
  • Drafting and preparing motions and briefs.
  • Participating in hearings, conferences, and depositions.
  • Interfacing with clients and providing guidance throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications:
  • Law school graduate with J.D.;
  • 2-5 years of experience in federal civil litigation;
  • Class action, consumer protection, tort and/or securities law experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Excellent writing and research skills;
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines;
  • Familiarity (preferred) with Clio, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office, LEXIS,PACER/ECF.
