We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice in various areas of law according to client needs.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigation.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and other relevant materials.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and applicable regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Handle client matters from intake to finish.
  • Appear for clients in court.
  • Draft pleadings and motions, conduct legal research and writing. Keep all client notes and time entries using Clio software.
  • Take direction from Managing Partner and get along well with staff.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and valid license to practice law in North Carolina. (Required).
  • Strong family law experience.
  • Proficient in the rules of civil procedure and rules of evidence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have experience in courtroom advocacy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Be organized and outgoing, comfortable in the courtroom, has a genuine desire to help others, is tech savvy (or willing to learn).
  • Is in good standing with the North Carolina Bar (Required).
  • Ability to handle cases in Mecklenburg, Gaston, Lincoln, Cabarrus, Union, Iredell, Cleveland, Anson, Rowan and Stanly. (Essential)
