Description:
We are an employment litigation firm is seeking a Los Angeles-based full time litigation attorney. We represent Plaintiffs in employment matters include FEHA, retaliation, harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, ands wage/hour claims. The associate will take the lead on cases that are assigned to them, and will be the day-to-day handling attorney on those cases from start to finish - including being the client's main point of contact. Training, guidance and mentorship provided. Flexibility for hybrid remote work assuming that deadlines are met and there is steady communication.Associate may also be provided a bonus on each case that they handle and that settles favorably.
Requirements:
- Member of the California State Bar required
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding Work Ethic
- Careful attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of Employment Law experience (Plaintiff or Defense)
Duties:
- Drafting Complaints
- Preparing/Responding to Written Discovery
- Court appearances
- Meeting and conferring with opposing counsel
- Drafting and opposing procedural and dispositive motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Liaising with the clients and keeping them updated on their cases.
- Trial work
