Surdyk, Dowd & Turner, an AV rated defense law firm, is seeking a full-time attorney with 0-5 years' experience. New graduates are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials, excellent analytical and writing skills, be highly motivated, and a self-starter. You will be involved in all aspects of litigation including drafting pleadings and motions, making court appearances, conducting depositions, and attending mediations. In addition to litigation matters, you will be involved in non-litigation work involving compliance, employment law, insurance and public sector issues. You will work with a small, close-knit team of attorneys and professional staff; collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies; be part of a sophisticated practice that advises private entities, public agencies, and individuals on legal issues; and receive one-on-one mentoring with growing levels of responsibility.
