Job Overview:San Francisco defense firm that practices Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (LHWCA), Defense Base Act (DBA), War Hazards Compensation Act and Maritime law with offices in San Francisco, Chicago and Houston seeks an associate attorney with Illinois Worker's Compensation Law Experience (1-5 yr experience). Excellent academic credentials and proven skills in writing, analysis and research are required. We are looking for a motivated and committed individual with a strong work ethic who will be comfortable assuming responsibility for managing challenging cases. Requirements:
Experience with Illinois Workers' Compensation Laws
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis or similar legal research platforms.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal documents.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
