Workers Compensation Defense Attorneys is a workers' compensation defense firm representing insurance carriers and employers for over 50 years. With our office located in Chicago, we handle cases throughout Illinois. We are looking for a dynamic candidate for an Associate Attorney position in our office.Responsibilities:
- Represent the interests of insurance carriers and employers in claims filed by injured workers from inception though closure, including depositions, pre-trials, trials, and oral arguments
- Advise clients on legal matters
- Help investigate accidents and potential defenses
- Negotiate settlement on behalf of clients
Qualifications:
- Admission to practice law in Illinois
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify legal issues and develop strategies to resolve them
