Pacific Northwest Family Law is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing family law litigation team in Yakima, Washington.This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys litigation, wants meaningful courtroom experience, and is looking to build a long-term career within a growing and structured law firm.
Our Yakima office has significant demand for family law services, and we are seeking an attorney who is ready to step into an active litigation practice handling divorce, custody, parenting plans, child support, modifications, relocation matters, and adoption cases. The position will involve contested hearings, litigation strategy, negotiations, and trial preparation, with substantial client contact and courtroom responsibility.
This is not an entry-level support position. The attorney hired for this role should expect to begin managing a caseload relatively quickly, with mentorship and supervision tailored to their level of experience and familiarity with family law litigation. During the first 30 days, the attorney will work closely with a firm partner to develop a transition and mentorship plan designed to support long-term success within the firm.
The Yakima legal community can be demanding and highly contested. We are looking for an attorney who is confident, professional, independent, and capable of handling difficult litigation with composure and good judgment. The ideal candidate is someone who can advocate firmly for clients while maintaining professionalism with opposing counsel, judges, and court staff.

Requirements:
- Active WSBA membership in good standing, or eligibility for admission prior to start date
- Litigation experience preferred; family law experience strongly preferred
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills

- Willingness to live and work in the Yakima area
Compensation:
- Expected salary range: $100,000–$150,000 depending on experience, litigation ability, and leadership potential
