Description:
This a position for a family law associate attorney, who will be responsible for developing his/her caseload, managing cases in litigation, and resolving legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contracts, mediating, and settling claims and advocating for clients in court. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent experience for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior attorney with complex cases
- Provide legal representation to clients in negotiations and litigation
- Maintain client relationships
- Prepare legal documents
- Contribute to firm development
Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice law in North Carolina
- 2-5 years of family law experience (2 years is the minimum to be considered)
- Strong communication, negotiation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Strong legal knowledge in the area of family law
Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
