Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $165,000 – $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Objective bonus tied to hours
  • Annual billable expectation: 1,440 hours (120/month average)

What You'll Do:
You'll take a lead role in managing sophisticated family law matters from inception through resolution:
  • Draft and argue Requests for Orders and responsive pleadings
  • Manage discovery strategy, including drafting and responding to demands
  • Conduct advanced legal research and draft persuasive briefs
  • Draft prenuptial/postnuptial agreements and complex marital settlement agreements
  • Prepare judgments
  • Collaborate with partners on trial strategy and actively support trial proceedings
  • Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and opposing counsel
  • Navigate high-asset, high-conflict, and procedurally complex cases

What We're Looking For:
Required:
  • J.D. and active membership with the California State Bar
  • 5+ years of family law experience
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities
  • Experience handling RFOs, status conferences and other appearances on your own
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice
  • Collaborative mindset with strong professional judgment
