Overview:
Aaron Delgado & Associates is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team, with a primary focus on family law, criminal defense, and probate matters. The ideal candidate is a strong advocate with solid legal judgment, excellent communication skills, and a client-first mindset. This role involves hands-on casework, courtroom representation, and close collaboration with senior attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in family, criminal, and probate matters, including court appearances, hearings, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
Conduct legal research and analysis relevant to case strategy, motions, and trial preparation.
Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, contracts, and probate filings.
Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and case outcomes.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for hearings and trials.
Manage assigned caseloads, maintain accurate case records, and ensure deadlines are met within the firm's case management system.
Negotiate settlements and resolutions on behalf of clients when appropriate.
Stay informed on changes in laws and procedures affecting family law, criminal defense, and probate practice.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active admission to the state bar and in good standing.
Experience or strong interest in family law, criminal defense, and/or probate matters.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and work under deadlines.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-based environment.
