Description:
Job Summary:Provide unparalleled legal services to every client every time by preparing and executing estate planning documents and walking clients through the probate process under the supervision of the managing partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with estate planning and probate clients
- Prepare and review estate planning and probate documents
- Regular communication with clients to keep them informed of their matter's progress
- Perform legal research
- Maintain organized records by following existing Firm processes and policies
- Properly log client information and notes into law software
- Ability to courteously interact with clients, other counsel, and internal staff
- And other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – written & verbal
- Self-starter
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Analytical skills
- Detail oriented
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school
- License to practice law in Texas
- 1.5+ years of experience preferred but not required
