The Preston Law Firm is a well-established and highly respected estate planning and probate law firm located in a very desirable Florida beach town. With the influx of people, our practice is growing and we have need for an estate planning attorney. This attorney would be responsible for providing legal counsel and services to clients regarding wills, trusts, and other critical planning matters. Key responsibilities will include:- Client Interaction: Meet with clients to understand their needs, goals, and objectives, and provide legal advice and guidance on estate planning strategies.
- Document Drafting: Utilizing advanced legal software to draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives, ensuring they adhere to the clients' wishes and meet legal requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans for clients.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff within the firm to provide exceptional client service and maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida state bar
- At least 3 years experience in estate planning
- Strong knowledge of estate planning, trusts, and estate tax laws
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills
