Position Summary:
Trolinger Law Offices, LLC is interviewing for an experienced Associate Attorney to join our firm. In this role, you will represent our diverse clientele in all legal proceedings pertaining to their case, provide legal counsel, and draw up legal documentation. In more complex cases, you will collaborate with our Managing Attorney and other Associates to ensure the best legal representation for our clients. To be considered, you must have a current state license and be a member of the Bar in good standing. Experience in family law litigation is a requirement.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Consult with prospective clients
- Counsel clients on family legal issues
- Represent your clients in the courtroom
- Negotiate agreements between parties
- Conduct research and compile evidence for your case
- Interview all those involved in the case
Qualifications, Skills, and Traits:
- J.D. degree
- Current state license
- Member of the Bar in good standing
- Courtroom or legal research experience, with at least 4 years in family law
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to approach sensitive and personal client information with respect, discretion, and compassion
- A genuineness, relatability, and approachability perceivable by clients and office staff
- Technology savviness and appreciation for an *almost* paperless work environment

Location:
To be considered for an Associate Attorney role, weekly office hours are expected to be maintained mostly in Newark, with some hours kept in Columbus, as court schedule allows. This role with cover Licking, Knox, Coshocton, Muskingum, Perry, Guernsey, and others east of Columbus.
