Description:
We're seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our criminal and traffic defense team serving Central and Southern Virginia. You'll represent clients in a variety of cases—from traffic infractions and DUIs to serious misdemeanors and felonies—appearing regularly in General District and Circuit Courts. This is a unique opportunity to be mentored by a seasoned trial attorney with 29 years of courtroom experience.Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in traffic and criminal matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare for hearings and trials
- Advise and communicate with clients about legal strategies and case status
- Attend court regularly throughout Central and Southern Virginia
- Work closely with the lead attorney for training, mentorship, and case development
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia law license (or pending bar exam results)
- Strong interest in criminal and traffic defense
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel regionally for court appearances
- Recent graduates or attorneys with limited experience are encouraged to apply
