Responsibilities:
What you will be doing:
- Represent clients in court: hearings, trials, and negotiations
- Manage your own caseload from start to finish—with backup when needed
- Draft persuasive motions and prepare compelling legal defenses
- Collaborate directly with firm leadership on case strategy
- Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, courts and staff
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish (Required)
- 2–5 years of experience in criminal defense
- Proven trial experience—you've led or co-led courtroom trials
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Strong advocacy, communication, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to operate independently and take direction when appropriate
