Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

$110,000.00 To $130,000.00 Annually

We are seeking a licensed Associate Attorney with at least three years of relevant experience to join our civil defense and insurance coverage litigation practice in our Springfield, IL office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to continue building their litigation experience while working with an established defense firm and a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze statutes, rules, regulations, and court decisions
• Review and analyze case documents
• Draft and respond to written discovery
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Draft motions, briefs, and other legal pleadings
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications:

• Active membership in the Illinois Bar
• At least three years of relevant legal experience
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Deposition experience preferred
