Goldstein Law Group is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of bodily injury litigation experience to join our growing insurance defense practice.Goldstein Law Group (GLG) is an AV-rated, nationally recognized law firm concentrating its practice in insurance defense and civil recovery. Since 2001, we have represented many of the nation's leading insurance companies, including Fortune 500 companies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of bodily injury/insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings
- Communicate directly with clients and provide case evaluations and status reports
- Develop case strategy and work toward efficient and favorable resolutions
- Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials as appropriate
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of bodily injury litigation experience required
- Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
- Deposition, hearing, and mediation experience
- Trial experience preferred, but not required
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to independently manage deadlines and a litigation caseload
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
